OUR CHARITY

Community Circus Paisley Charity (SCIO) is a registered Scottish charity established to make circus and creative activity accessible to more people in Paisley and beyond.

Our aim is to use circus to build confidence, improve wellbeing, develop skills and create opportunities for people to connect, participate and progress.

What we do

The charity supports and delivers accessible and community-focused circus activity, including:

  • circus activities for children, young people and adults;

  • accessible circus for people with additional support needs;

  • outreach with community organisations, schools and care settings;

  • programmes designed to improve confidence, wellbeing and social connection;

  • opportunities for people who may experience financial, physical or other barriers to taking part; and

  • training and development that helps make circus more accessible and inclusive.

Our ambition is not simply to enable people to participate in circus, but to create opportunities for people to grow, develop skills, contribute and help shape what happens next
